Foam fire extinguishers use a combination of water and film forming foam (AFFF) to effectively extinguish type A and type B fires, including paper, wood, textiles and flammable liquids.
When used, foam fire extinguishers form a film covering the flame surface, infiltrating the material and completely separating the flame from oxygen, both capable of completely extinguishing the flame and preventing the effect. they may re-emerge.
Unlike other products, foam fire extinguishers can be used to extinguish fires from flammable liquids, such as gasoline, paraffin, paint and oil.
Note: Foam fire extinguishers cannot be used for fires caused by combustible metal or electrical appliances.
